Currently as of late 2005, Greg
is manager of Pelican Bay Bonefishing in The Bahamas. Although considered one
of the premier flats fishing operations in The Islands, specializing in
trophy sized bonefish and permit, Greg has also developed an offshore fly
fishing program targeting a mix of offshore gamefish. The program however specializies
in large Yellowfin Tuna on the fly. Greg’s program is developing each year in
it’s ability to attract a wide range of anglers from the very experienced to
the complete novice. He has developed a saltwater flats fly fishing school as
well as an offshore fly fishing school. Greg is about to enter his 6th
year of operations at this location. and spends a lot of his down time
fishing personally, researching new options and areas both on the flats as
well as inshore and offshore waters. Many a night is spent at his trusty vice
and you may well recognize many of his Bonefishing patterns being sold
internationally. Look for his latest patterns
being sold in The US for 2006. Even with so much experience behind him it is
very evident when you meet Greg today how passionate he still is about the
sport of fly fishing. He is always ready to share his experience and
knowledge and enjoys teaching the skills he has been shown and those he has
developed himself over the years. With almost 20 years in the fly fishing
travel business Greg is undoubtedly part of a relatively minute core of the
Industry. Greg’s thirst for fly fishing
experiences in tandem with his existing experience in both the many salt and
freshwater disciplines of the sport has put Greg in a unique situation of
being able to travel almost anywhere and
immediately be productive.
